Once upon a time, in the wild... east side of Manhattan a boy and a girl walked into a saloon, the Gem Saloon. After unknowingly living in the same apartment building for months, their love story began at a feet-stick-to-the-floor bar in Murray Hill. Whoever said you can't find love in the Gem Saloon was mad enough to chase a tequila shot with hot sauce, because that is where the love story of Caroline and Eric began! A mutual love of all things food, dogs and really sick beats, led to a happy house with two fur babies, Colette and Frank. After heading out east together during the pandemic, Caroline honed her Italian cooking skills, perfecting her now famous "marry me alla vodka" which finally worked in December of 2022 when Eric proposed back at their favorite haunt, the Gem. Wearing another girl's pants (if you know, you know), Caroline of course said yes, and they can't wait to celebrate the beginning of their happily ever after with you!
