We are thrilled to celebrate our marriage with you! Our wedding will follow the sacred traditions of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we'd love to share what that means and how you can be part of our special day.
The Temple Sealing
.
Our marriage will begin with a temple sealing ceremony, which is the most sacred part of our wedding day. In the faith of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a temple sealing is an eternal ordinance where we will be united not just for this life, but for all eternity. This ceremony takes place in one of the Church's holy temples, where we will kneel at an altar and make sacred covenants with God and with each other. The sealing ceremony itself is intimate and reverent, typically lasting about 20-30 minutes. It is performed by someone holding proper priesthood authority and is witnessed by family and close friends. Due to the sacred nature of temple ordinances, only members of the Church who hold a current temple recommend may attend the sealing ceremony. We understand that not everyone will be able to join us for this portion of the day, but please know that you are deeply important to us, and we are so grateful to celebrate with you at the reception. However, we would love for you to join us outside the temple after our sealing ceremony! Please come enjoy the beautiful temple grounds and be there to cheer for us as we exit the temple doors as a newly sealed couple. This is a wonderful way for everyone to share in our joy on this special day.
The Reception

Following the temple sealing, we will host a wedding reception where everyone is warmly invited to celebrate with us! The reception is a joyful gathering where we can share our happiness with all our loved ones, family, friends, and community members, regardless of faith or background. Our reception will typically include: A receiving line where you can congratulate us and share in our joy Light refreshments including cake and other treats Music and dancing to celebrate our union Time to mingle and connect with other guests Photo opportunities to capture memories together The reception is relaxed and joyful, a time for laughter, love, and celebration. We hope you'll join us for this special evening as we begin our journey as husband and wife.
What This Day Means to Us

In our faith, marriage is the most important decision we'll make in this life. We believe that families are central to God's plan and that the bonds we form here on earth can continue eternally. While the sealing ceremony is sacred and private, our love and commitment to each other are something we want to share with all of you. We are so grateful for your love and support, and we can't wait to celebrate this beautiful beginning with you!
