Our story begins in Yankton, South Dakota, at Mount Marty University. Two paths quietly crossing long before we understood the significance. For months, we exchanged nothing more than passing glances, unaware that life was slowly pulling us toward each other. Then came Halloween of 2021. A simple conversation sparked something neither of us expected, leading to our first date the very next weekend… and from that point on, our lives were forever changed. As our connection deepened, Jaren knew he was ready to make things official. But in true Lanny fashion, she wanted the moment to be her own; making June 2nd, 2022 the day we became “officially official.” From that day forward, our journey has been filled with shared dreams, unwavering support, and the kind of love that feels like home. We’ve cheered each other on through our collegiate sports, careers, explored new places side by side, and created memories we’ll hold onto forever. In December 2024, we began a new chapter together in Salt Lake City, Utah. Today, our home is filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest cuddles from our two fur babies, Kenai and Pablo. And on June 6th, 2025, Jaren knew it was time to turn the page once again, this time to our engagement. We are endlessly grateful for every moment that led us here and cannot wait to continue writing the beautiful story of our life together.
