Question

What is Blue Hill at Stone Barns and why did you pick it?

Answer

Blue Hill is a two star Michelin restaurant located at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, a sustainable organic farm in Westchester County. If you want to learn more about the venue and its history, check out Season 1, Episode 2 of Chef's Table on Netflix. Rebecca watched this during Covid lockdowns and hoped if she ever got married, it would be here. Luckily for her, Eli grew up just down the street, and spent his childhood hiking the trails of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, which surround the farm property. For this, and many other reasons, it's a pretty special place to get married.

Question

I have dietary restrictions. Can Blue Hill accommodate me?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding dinner will be a pre-determined, multi-course tasting menu designed by the chef, based on optimal seasonal elements at the farm. However, the kitchen can accommodate all dietary restrictions and the waitstaff will ask you about these on the day of the wedding.

Question

Your invitation says Black Tie Optional. We just want to know: is Eli wearing a tux?

Answer

Eli is not wearing a tuxedo, but he is wearing a custom suit. We encourage you to dust off those tails if you wish!

Question

Will I have to trek through dirt or muddy fields to reach the venue? This isn't my first wedding at a farm.

Answer

No. The road is paved from the parking lot and transportation drop off point. Also, the entire wedding will be indoors. Bring on the stilettos. However, we encourage you to explore the grounds, including the trails, before the wedding -- for this, you may want a different pair of shoes.
