Bella Cosa has a rich history, starting as the Lake Pierce Club in 1925, a popular destination for celebrities and the President. It was later renamed The Bonaire in the 1940s and continued to operate as a hotel until the 1960s. After passing through several owners, including a family who housed refugees, it was purchased in 2016 by Rev. Jim Way, who renamed it Capernaum Lakeside Lodge and began extensive renovations. It is now known as Bella Cosa Lakeside Lodge & Venue and is used as an exclusive wedding venue.
