Dylem and I have been friends since childhood, which means he’s seen me through every awkward phase, bad haircut, and questionable life choice—and stuck around anyway. Over the years, he’s become more like a brother than a friend. He’s the kind of person who’d drop everything to help someone he cares about, and I’m lucky to have had that kind of loyalty in my life for so long. There was never a doubt in my mind that he’d be standing next to me on the big day—probably cracking jokes, definitely making sure everything runs smoothly, and reminding me how far we’ve come.

Whether we’re talking life stuff or trash-talking each other mid-game, Cole’s been a steady presence in my life for years.
