You can RSVP here on our website! Please click the "RSVP" section and enter the name of one member of your party. Please note you will only be able to RSVP for invited guests, as listed on your invitation. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Please see the "Schedule" section of our website. We recommend arriving a half-hour before the ceremony to ensure you have time to grab a drink & find your way to the forest retreat before our ceremony begins at 4 pm. We have a fun evening planned for you!
We recommend you arrive by 3:30 pm, a half-hour before the ceremony begins, so that you have time to make your way to the ceremony area, find a seat, and get a drink, if you wish.
We will be serving dinner family-style, so you can sample everything! Please specify any dietary restrictions when you RSVP on the RSVP page of this website.
The dress code is cocktail/formal attire. In general, this means a suit or a dress shirt with a tie. You could also wear a dress that is knee-length or longer, dressy separates, or a jumpsuit. Feel free to dress to impress, but be comfortable and true to you! Have fun with it. Are you more of a rhinestone cowboy or Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's? We can't wait to see what you come up with. Please note that the ceremony will be outdoors on grass (weather permitting), while the reception will include indoor and outdoor spaces. Dinner will be seated indoors. The wedding party will be wearing black, but you are welcome to wear black if you so desire!
We have hired a professional photographer so that you can enjoy yourself and focus on the ceremony. We kindly ask that you put away your phones and other devices during the ceremony, and be fully present with us during this important moment in our lives. We will post photos on this website once we have them back, so feel free to check back about 6-8 weeks after the wedding!
Yes, there is ample parking in front of the venue. We will also be offering a shuttle back to downtown Sister Bay.
Please see the "Travel" page of our website. We have hotels listed at various price points. As this is Labor Day weekend, we were unfortunately unable to find a hotel that would allow room blocks at a discounted rate. We're sorry for the inconvenience, as we do recognize that hotels in Door County are expensive. As it is a holiday weekend, we do recommend booking as soon as possible. Prices for hotels may increase as August approaches. There are also lots of good options on AirBnB and VRBO.
Unfortunately no, there is absolutely no smoking on the grounds of Northern Haus, even outside. This includes cigarettes, cigars, weed, vaping, etc. If there is any smoking or evidence of smoking, we will be assessed a $2,500 fine. Please help us avoid this by planning ahead and not smoking at any time during our wedding. Thank you!
Please see the "Registry" section of our website.
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue's capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding. Those invited to the wedding will be listed on your invitation envelope, and when you RSVP on our website.
While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only occasion, with the exception of children who are part of our ceremony. Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you on our special day!
Please RSVP here on our website by JULY 12. Because we have to provide firm numbers to our vendors, including the caterer, we will have to mark anyone who has not RSVP'ed by July 12 as "Not Attending." We'll miss celebrating with you, but we appreciate your understanding.
She isn't sure and will be Mrs. Kaelin Grant for the immediate future. Please feel free to ask Eli if he's changing his name!
