Question

What is Dusty Rose and Light blue? / Am I supposed to wear only those colors?

Answer

The swatches above are Pantone’s Dusty Rose and Clear Sky, which are our wedding colors. So whether it is head-to-toe or a tie and pocket square, we are requesting that everyone incorporate these colors into their garden formal attire in some way, shape or form.

Question

What does Mx. stand for?

Answer

Mx. is the prefix used by people who identify as non-binary; pronounced like mix. Jack uses he/him pronouns, and he will go by Mr. Trujillo-Thorson. Eli uses they/them pronouns, and they will go by Mx. Trujillo-Thorson.

Question

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

We love all of our nieces, nephews, and niblings. We kindly ask that if you have small children and cannot arrange for child care that you skip the ceremony and join us for the reception that will commence at 06:00 PM. Please let us know beforehand so that we can arrange appropriate seating for the dinner.

Question

Is this a sober wedding?

Answer

No. We will be serving beer, wine, champagne and Prosecco.

Question

What weather should I dress for?

Answer

Ojai in the summer is hot and dry. Though we will be surrounded by greenery and plenty of shade, we recommend that you dress accordingly; skip the wool suits and opt for lighter materials like linen.

Question

How do I get around Ojai if I don't want to drive?

Answer

The Lavender Inn is in the heart of Ojai and is a stone's throw from the arcade that is home to dozens of bars, breweries, and restaurants. Though the Uber market in Ojai may still be untapped, most things are accessible on foot.
