We both had decided to attend our states' Youth Convention that year and oh how it change our lives forever. We met the last night of the convention with other friends and just started to find out more things about one another. We finally stayed that night late with other two friends talking away, not caring much of what that morning would bring. (Eli had something business to take care of that next early morning)

The first date was never an official date, we just called it "two friends trying to spend time together and whom haven't seen each other for months. We were both equally as nervous; Eli got there about 45 minutes early and Destiny had to call her best friend to calm her nerves. Eli decided to take us to a restaurant by the name of Mellow Mushroom. Located right in the center of both of us, since we did live 2 hours away from each other and wanted to make the drive an equal distance. Right after that we decided to go see visit stores and walk around the shopping center located near there. It was a first date which will be remembered for decades to come.

June 28th was finally here, Eli had been anticipating this day for months now. He had talked to her parents and gotten their approval, the location was set up by his sister and her best friend. Everything was set for the big day. The day starts off with him taking her to get a relaxing pedicure and manicure, which she had been asking for many many weeks now. While she was getting her pedicure, he slipped off to the store to meet her best friend who was going to help decorate with his sister. He gave her some of the last touches to the decorations and went right back to the nail salon. He later surprised her with a super relaxing facial message whom she always talked about. Once it reached 5 pm he surprised her and took her to the opening day of the venue which they had been looking forward to see, since there had been talks and ideas of marriage in the months prior. Once they were about to leave the venue he asked politely for her to blind fold herself, which at first she denied but then finally budged. They drove to the location where his sister and her best friend had been decorating for hours now, everyone was anxious and ready. He parks and her best friend grabs her and guides her to the exact spot, since she was still in blindfolds. Once she reaches the spot he takes off the blind folds in time for her to see her dearest family and friends all gathered and him on one knee. WE WERE FINALLY ENGAGED.
