On an app! How else do people meet and date today?! A year after having matched and exchanged messages on JSwipe with nothing to show for it, the stars aligned and Chloe and Eli matched again. This time, however, the match would not expire after 18 days as it did the previous year. Chloe figured she would take a shot at this Brooklyn Boy and Eli was intrigued by the Swiss Miss. They met shortly after some exchanged messages and international travel and had some hot toddies on a brisk November evening in the Upper West Side over a game of Cards Against Humanity. Two weeks after returning from our (second) trip to Switzerland and Israel, we went for a walk on the waterfront on shabbat afternoon in the Upper West Side. Chloe was leaving on Monday on a work trip to Dallas. The air was warm with a slight breeze and we stopped at the pier on 79th street. As we were there, the sun began to set and it was calm and quiet. Watching the sun set in the colorful sky and starting to dip below the skyline, Eli (finally) asked Chloe if she would consider being his wife. The time, the person and the moment were just right. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
