In August 2019, we started our first week of college at Canisius. The school offered an early orientation option for incoming Biology majors called "Bio Bootcamp" which is where we first saw each other. A few days into the program, we formally met for the first time at a movie night in the quad. That night we spoke for hours, and went back to one of the dorms to play games with other students. From then on, we were literally inseparable. We spent most of our time in class and the library together, talked for hours and started to get to know each other, and went on our first official date, September 5th, 2019, which became our anniversary. We both remember walking hand in hand by Riverworks after that first date, and Calvin saying he wanted to be able to do this for the rest of his life. You heard that correctly, after one date we both sort of knew. We fell in love so quickly and effortlessley. Within 4 months we both knew we wanted to get married. Despite the pandemic around the corner our love grew through it all, and we ended up both being RAs for three years together, taking most of our classes together, doing the same volunteering programs, running the Biology Honors club together, working as medical asisstants together, studying together...you get the point. Never once did our love or honeymoon phase fade despite the stress of school and life. We graduated Summa Cum Laude together, travelled to Italy among many other places together, got our first apartment, and now support each other through PA and medical school. Our love has been consistently blissful, easy, and the best part of our lives. We are so excited to include all of you in this part of our unfolding story...there is so much left to be written.
