It all started at an InterNations event in New Orleans. It was just like every other monthly gathering, except this one was different. It was 2017, and the first time Karl and Elia met. Elia had no idea Karl would be the one! But, it was his persistence that won her over. Oh, was he persistent! What she loves most about him is his enthusiasm for life. Karl seems to never have a bad day. Elia cherishes the way he keeps going no matter how many times he falls down. It is in this persistence that she finds security, comfort, and strength. Karl, on the other hand, is in love with how sweet, caring, and loving she is to those around her. Also, very much in love with her cultural background. As they continue this journey together, they are ready to handle all that life brings. Hand-in-hand, and for many years to come, they plan to live a joyous life together. Cheers!
