History
Podere Tesoro is a charming organic farm and a scenic vineyard. The renovation journey brought to unexpected finds, including an hidden tomb underneath the staircase of the main entrance. The property promptly informed the city of Siena, which unearthed ancient relics and an amphora dated 620 BC. They then found out that Podere Tesoro ("Treasure") was known for its proximity to a jewelers' cemetery during the Etruscan era.
Podere Tesoro e' un'affascinante azienda agricola biologica con vigneti panoramici. Il viaggio della ristrutturazione ha portato con se una serie di scoperte inaspettate, in particolare una tomba nascosta sotto la scala d'ingresso principale. La proprieta' ha immediatamente informato la Sovrintendenza di Siena,, che ha portato alla luce antichi reperti e un'anfora risalente al 620 a.c. In modo curioso, hanno rivelato che Tesoro, giustamente chiamato 'Tesoro', era rinomato durante l'era etrusca per la sua vicinanza a un cimitero di gioiellieri.
