Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPing will become available on this website once official invites are sent out.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! Please send us your guest’s full name once you RSVP.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

If they are listed on the invite or mentioned as "and family", yes!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional, formal attire. June in Athens is typically very warm during the day & cools down after sundown. The ceremony will be indoors with air-conditioning, and the reception will be fully outdoors, so please consider when making outfit choices.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the church 15 minutes early (5:15 PM). The tradition in Greece is for the guests to wait for the bride outside the church, along with the groom. Of course, if you require a seat, you are more than welcome to wait inside as seats may be limited.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot as well as street parking available around the church. Complementary valet parking will be available at the reception venue.

Question

What should I know about Greek Orthodox ceremonies?

Answer

They are rich in tradition and last ~45 minutes. Seating may be limited; many guests stand.

Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the reception for guests without a car?

Answer

Yes! There will be buses to transport guests from the church to the venue after the wedding ceremony and from the venue to 3 hotels indicated on our website. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.
