Richmond Highlights

Over the last home year, we’ve had so much fun exploring Chris’s new hometown together, revisiting some of my favorite spots and discovering new ones that Chris has quickly claimed as his own. Below you’ll find a list of our top picks, both near the venue and in downtown Richmond, that we’re so excited to share with you!

Short Pump Town Center

11800 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23233

For those who love to shop, Short Pump Town Center is the largest shopping destination in the Richmond area. It offers a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and entertainment all in one convenient location. Short Pump Town Center is also connected to the Hyatt House, where we have one of our room blocks, and is just 5 minutes from the Residence Inn.

Wood and Iron | Game Day Restaurant and Bar

12288 West Broad Street, Henrico, VA 23233

Wood & Iron is a great spot to watch Saturday Game Day before the wedding or to keep the party going on Friday and Saturday evenings! The restaurant is located just down the street from Hyatt House and the Residence Inn.

Drive Shack

1647 Four Rings Drive, Richmond, VA 23233

Drive Shack combines a driving range with a full-service restaurant, bars, and other games. It is located just 5 to 10 minutes from our recommended hotels.

Scott's Addition Historic District

Richmond, VA 23230

This area is closer to downtown Richmond and is surrounded by an incredible selection of restaurants and breweries. If you’re looking for a few recommendations, some of our favorite restaurants include Yellow Umbrella Provisions, Lucky AF, Lunch and Supper, and Tazza Kitchen. Great breweries include Starr Hill, Veil Brewing, Hardywood, and Brambly Park.

1512 Canal Walk, Richmond, VA 23219

The Canal Walk is a 1.25-mile scenic path in Downtown Richmond, VA, that follows the James River and Kanawha Canal.
