Our big day is less than a week away, and we are so thankful and excited that we have the opportunity to celebrate it with you. We know that COVID-19 is top of mind for many, and wanted to address the elephant in the room. We look forward to getting married on March 14th, and we sincerely hope you will be able to celebrate with us. Your health is a priority to us, and should be your main priority. We want everyone to feel happy, comfortable and safe on our special day. With so many traveling to Dallas, please be cautious and take the necessary steps to protect yourselves and others from contracting COVID-19 by following the various hygiene recommendations made by medical professionals. Also, please do not be offended in the event someone avoids hugs, handshakes or other forms of physical contact as a precautionary step to limit their exposure. We are so excited to see each of you as we celebrate the beginning of our adventure as a married couple. We are blessed to have met so many wonderful people during the various stages of our lives, and are elated to see those worlds come together in one place to celebrate with us. Love, Elena and Thomas
Thomas and Elena were lucky enough to find each other after they had both decided to join a Catholic dating website. After they had talked on the phone for hours and hours, they got up the courage to finally meet in person a few weeks later. On their first date, they spent the entire day together in Mount Airy, North Carolina hiking, exploring, and getting to know more about each other. By the end of the day, they had already set a second date before saying good night!
Thomas popped the question the night of Elena’s 28th birthday. After having dinner at one of her favorite restaurants, Thomas hid the ring in the most romantic spot... Elena’s retainer case! It was definitely a surprise, to say the least. The following weekend, they celebrated the engagement with a surprise trip to Fredericksburg, Texas with some of their family and friends.
