Are we allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask all devices to be silenced and put away during our ceremony. We’ll have our photographer handle the pictures, ensuring the ceremony remains focused and uninterrupted.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The patio will be open throughout the reception for anyone who wants to step outside, though many guests tend to enjoy it most during the cocktail hour.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. For men, that means, suits or dress pants with a jacket, with or without tie. For women, cocktail dresses in midi or maxi lengths, preferably maxi, since we’re aiming for an evening-style look while still keeping things comfortable. The venue does not allow denim, so please keep that in mind when planning your outfit. Aside from that, there are no color restrictions. We want everyone to wear something that makes them feel confident and ready to celebrate with us!

The RSVP deadline is July 30, 2026. Please let us know by then whether you can join us so we can finalize details with our venue and vendors. We would love to hear from everyone, even if you are unable to attend. Thank you to those who have already responded, we really appreciate it!

Your RSVP will indicate whether you have a plus one or are able to bring children. Once you enter your name, you will see the details for your invitation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want everyone to feel included and have a wonderful time!

What are some things to do in the area?

Answer

For those who have a day to enjoy the area before the wedding, we’ve put together a few ideas for things to do nearby. From exploring local sights to grabbing a meal or just relaxing, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your day. Downtown Lake Orion and Oxford are full of charming cafés, breweries, and restaurants, including Red Knapps (one of Max’s favorite spots). For a bit of fun, Legacy 925 offers go-karting, axe throwing, and bowling. Oxford also has a downtown movie theater. If shopping is your thing, Great Lakes Crossing outlet mall is close to the hotels we’ve listed on the website. There are also several trails in the area, like the Polly Ann Trail, perfect for a walk and enjoying the outdoors.
