Matt and I met when we were both on a cruise to the Bahamas. At first we both thought the person was with someone else. Come to find out we were both just with friends! Soon we got to know one another on the dance floor, through dinners and many fun moments on the ship. We had our first date at the night restaurant where talking to one another was easy. We both knew that we didn't want to say good bye forever. Matt asked me on the day before we were getting of the ship if we could keep in contact. Off course the answer was yes, I had to get to know him more. I am glad that he felt the same way because I was about to be 13 hours away from him in Disney World. Two days into talking as much as we could we both knew we wanted to know what life could be for the two of us. We starting dating, making it work with trips to see one another, facetime dates and lots of phone calls. On our last trip in Orlando, Matt asked me to make a promise to be with one another and I couldn't be more happy to know that I would have this man in my life! Once Matt was done with school he moved up to Culpeper where we moved into my parents house while we found somewhere to live. After just about 4 months of living in our home Matt asked me to be his wife. We now live in a beautiful town home and are planning a wedding! Life together is something we never expected to find especially on a cruise but couldn't be more thankful that we found one another in the best time we could have asked for. We can't wait to share our love and special day with friends & family.
Thank you to everyone who has gotten their RSVP card in! We are excited to announce that the number of guests for an event in the state of VA is rising which means as long as everything stays like that we will not have to cut the number of in person guests! WOOT WOOT! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone and hope to see everyone on the big day!
