Nothing Fancy, Just Love.

It all began over sushi. Though we had known of each other in high school, our paths seldom crossed. Yet, beneath the surface, there was always an unspoken awareness—a quiet recognition that lingered between fleeting glances. Fast forward to 2016: after Kyle generously helped Elena move apartments, she sought a way to express her gratitude. A simple invitation to sushi turned into something more—a moment that marked the beginning of a deeper connection. Life, however, had its own plans. In 2018, Elena embarked on a journey to Germany and, with a heavy heart, chose to end things. We were young, standing at the threshold of growth and change, still learning what it meant to truly build a life. Years passed, and with them came transformations—decisions that shaped who we were meant to be. In 2021, after reflection and renewal, Elena reached back out to Kyle, the one who had always treated her with kindness, patience, and respect. From that moment, the conversation shifted—no longer about fleeting moments, but about the life we wanted to create together. Together, we took our first step into forever, purchasing a home in June of 2023. On this past Christmas morning, Kyle knelt and asked the question that would seal our future. On September 25th, 2025, we will exchange vows in a quiet elopement with our closest family and friends at the courthouse. And on the evening of September 26th, 2025, we will celebrate with you—the people who have been part of our journey, and who will continue to be part of the beautiful chapters ahead.
