The DIA is a must-visit for art connoisseurs or culture lovers. With over 65,000 pieces of art from every corner of the world, dating from the earliest civilizations to the present, the museum offers visitors an encounter with human creativity from all over the world.

If you are looking to walk around and explore the city, the park is a great place to start. There are plenty of shops and restaurants located around the park for you visit, including two of Michigan's historic and famous Coney Islands.
If you are a history buff like us, then you will love the Henry Ford Museum. Not only do they have an incredible collection of artifacts, but it is also where we had one of our first dates. If you are looking for something to do for a day, we highly recommend visiting the museum and possibly getting a bite at Fords Garage when you are done.
If you are looking for a place to jog in the morning or take a stroll at night, the Detroit RiverWalk spans around three miles taking you from Rosa Parks Blvd. to the Belle Isle Bridge. Along the path, you can see incredible views of Detroit’s skyline as well as breathtaking views of Canada across the river.
