This is an awesome place to go for dinner or for some chill Charlotte night life. There are a bunch of outdoor bars with different themes and most nights there is also live music. There are outdoor games like ping pong, jenga, and corn hole. The drinks are great and not to mention there are some delicious arepas, pupusas, and empanadas from a Latin Fusion stand.
The white water center is a must visit in Charlotte. They have all kinds of outdoor activities to do and explore if you have a whole day including rock climbing, white water rafting, mountain bike trails, kayaking and paddle boarding. If that is not your thing then they also have River Jams during the summer months in the evening when the sun is setting. You can sit by the rapids with some beer and listen to local bands play. We have done this several times. Plus it is dog friendly!!
We love hanging out at Optimist Hall! They have a ton of cool, local restaurants and breweries. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating too. Anything from fantastic sushi to really good vegan green bowls can be found here.
NoDa is a fun and artsy part of Charlotte near the downtown area. There are cool bars, restaurants, and stores. It is a great place to walk around or meet up with friends!
