General Information for U.S. travelers

Here are some tips on how to get from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport to Qingshui, Taichung: 1. High-Speed Rail 2.Bus (takes 2.5-3 hours) tickets can be bought at the airport and will take you to Taichung bus station. From here, you can take a local bus to Qingshui. Getting around in Qingshui, Taichung: 1. Public Buses The fare is typically around NT$15 per section. You can use an EasyCard or iPASS for payment. 2. Taxis and Uber Tips: EasyCard/iPASS: Use these contactless smart cards for seamless payment on public transport. They can be recharged at convenience stores and stations. Apps: Use apps like Google Maps or Taiwan Bus Tracker to plan your routes and check bus schedules. Google translate is helpful to translate signs if needed.

Taipei Taoyuan International Airport to Qingshui, Taichung steps: 1.Airport MRT: Take the Airport MRT to Taoyuan high speed rail (HSR) Station. You can buy HSR tickets at airport. (About 20 min) 2.Taoyuan to Taichung: Take the High-Speed Rail to Taichung HSR Station from Taouyuan HSR. You can buy tickets at station. (About 40-50 min) 3.Local Transport: From Taichung HSR Station, you can take a taxi, Uber or bus to Qingshui. (About 30 min)
