FAQs

Question

What is the best way to get to the ceremony from downtown?

Answer

We expect traffic to be very heavy our wedding weekend. If you are staying downtown and taking the expressway to Queen of All Saints, please do NOT take the local lanes: take the EXPRESS LANES at the Ohio / Ontario street entrance. The next-best option would be to take Lake Shore Drive. Please plan accordingly, check traffic on apps, and give yourselves an hour to get to Queen of All Saints by 2:50.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If "and Guest" was written on your wedding invitation, then yes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We'd love our wedding reception to be your night off from the kids so you can have a fun evening!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal: tuxes, gowns, dark suits with ties, and formal cocktail dresses are all welcome.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Queen of All Saints Basilica has a large parking lot and The Waldorf Astoria has a valet service available. We will also have a shuttle service available to take guests from the the Ceremony to the Reception at the Waldorf.
