Beaver Island is one of our favorite places. Eric's mom is from Beaver Island so every year we make a trip over to spend time with family. If you want to spend a few extra days "Up North" we highly suggest taking a flight or the ferry over to the island.

Check out the beach and lighthouse in Charlevoix. You can watch the Beaver Islander or Emerald Isle on it's trip to Beaver Island from the pier!

There are tons of cute places to shop in Charlevoix and while you're at it, definitely check out Lake Charlevoix Brewing Company, it's one of our favorite stops before we head off to Beaver Island every year!
