What about COVID-19?

Answer

In accordance with CDC guidelines, we *highly* encourage all guests to get vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending our wedding events. All venues have reserved their rights to require guests to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, as well as require guests to wear masks/social distance.

Will the wedding events be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Traditional Engagement, Wedding Ceremony, and Wedding Reception are all indoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the Traditional Engagement and/or White Wedding, please wear formal (black-tie optional) attire.

Is there aso-ebi available?

Answer

Yes, there is aso-ebi available for specific groups of invitees, though supply is running low. Please email livinglavidakaka@gmail.com for more information and to place your orders.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding events are adults-only (18+) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date/+1?

Answer

Given County, State, and Venue restrictions related to COVID-19, we have a strict guest list. Our wedding events are strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact us directly.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. But because you asked, we are registered at Target and Macy's. You may also contribute to our Honeymoon Fund. Please visit the Registry page on this website for more details. (See the website menu.)

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, we do have hotel blocks at four hotels reserved for our out of town guests. Please see the Travel/Accommodation page on this website for more details. (See the website menu.)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LivingLaVidaKaka so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
