FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is Semi/Formal Attire.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Question

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat ahead of time and be ready to start the celebrations on time! Ceremony starts at 5:30 PM.

Question

What is on the dinner menu?

Answer

We will be serving a dual-plated entrée for dinner, and guests will have the opportunity to pre-select their second protein. Carved Flank Steak Grilled & rolled in herbs, cooked to a medium temperature & served with house made Chimichurri. Guests will pre-select one of the following options as their second protein: Seared Rosemary Chicken Breast Rosemary and garlic marinated chicken breast topped with a robust charred grape and garlic mustard OR Miso Glazed Salmon Miso glazed pan seared salmon on a bed of balsamic soy-braised foraged mushrooms. Side Pairings Flash Fried Honey & Mustard Brussels Sprouts + Roasted Red Potatoes

Question

Is there any transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing transportation from/back to our two hotel options: Rod 'N' Reel and The Inn at Herrington Harbour. We will post this information on the “Hotel & Travel” tab when we have more details to share. We are tentatively planning to have the bus make stops at the Rod’N’Reel Resort, the Inn at Herrington Harbour, and the Polynesian Lawn & Paradise Ballroom venue site. The Inn is about a 15-20 walk around the marina to the reception site, however, we do not recommend walking after it’s dark out. There are limited Ubers/Lyfts in the area, but they are unreliable as a transportation method. Please make sure you have planned transportation ahead of time.

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot located next to the ceremony/reception. If you choose to drive to the wedding venue, you may leave your car overnight and pick it up in the morning. Please note that Uber & Lyft are NOT readily available options in the area, so please keep this in mind when considering transportation.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are more than happy to do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions so that you can enjoy the food during the evening. Please respond when you RSVP on the website with details about your restriction. Or feel free to reach out to me (Eleesha) directly at 757-969-7348.
