Visit the National Mall, where you can see the Washington Monument, Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, White House, and more. You can also find many of the Smithsonian Museums here, such as the Air and Space and Natural History Museums.
One of the most scenic neighborhoods in the city, this is where many of our first memories together were formed. Enjoy shopping, dining, or explore one of the historic house museums, such as Dumbarton Oaks, Tudor Place, or the Old Stone House. Be sure to also check out the waterfront park!
About 45 minutes outside the city, visit the historic village in the middle of the Virginia Piedmont region. Enjoy scenic views of horse and hunt country along the way. We recommend taking the slightly longer, but more scenic Route 50 to get there.
Explore the grounds or join a walking tour and experience the changing of the guard and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at this revered destination.
Visit the sixth-largest Cathedral in the world, the Washington National Cathedral, which has played a central role in many national ceremonies, presidential inaugurations, and funerals.
