Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nora Bailey and Sam Bearden
Here are some quick and easy things to do, eat, and see around Rome, GA (clocktower pictured)! Text the bride for any more specific suggestions (i.e. bars, shopping...).

Berry College

2277 Martha Berry Highway, Mount Berry, GA 30149

This college campus is the largest in the world! It is near and dear to Nora's heart and a must-see. The campus is filled with hikes, drives, and views. We can give you specific hike recommendations upon request.

Downtown Rome, GA

601 Broad St, Rome, GA 30161

Downtown Rome, GA is filled with boutiques, restaurants, bookstores, and all the southern small-town charm we could recommend.

Neely Hill

Rome, GA 30161

As pictured above, the historic clocktower is a beautiful photo op and the most iconic symbol of Rome. A neighboring parking lot overlooks downtown Rome, GA.

Ridge Ferry Park

363 Riverside Parkway Northeast, Rome, GA 30161

Ridge Ferry Park is a great local park for the kids, if needed (and if it's not too cold)! Ridge Ferry is filled with walking paths along the river and includes a playground, fields, and a new skate park.

Harvest Moon Cafe

234 Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161

Yummy local southern cooking! The pimento cheese and sweet potato chips are must-tries.

Las Palmas

311 Riverside Parkway Northeast, Rome, GA 30161

A legendary classic Mexican restaurant. Ask for the fresh guacamole, they make it at the table!

Yummy Thai

526 Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161

Delicious Thai Food in Downtown Rome, GA. They serve great fresh ingredients. We recommend the pad thai or any of their curries.

Doug's Deli Downtown

606 Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161

Doug's Deli is catering both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. However, if you can't get enough, stop by one of their two locations for the best food in town. Nora worked at Doug's in the summers for four years, so she may be biased.
