The wedding events will take place entirely at the Tides Inn in Irvington, VA, a tiny town on Virginia's Northern Neck. It is roughly a 3 hour drive from Arlington and a little over an hour from the Richmond, VA airport. Some AirBnBs are available in the area and other places to stay are listed below. This is wedding venue and there is a block of rooms. Please call: 1-877-665-5977 and reference the Shaw Dougherty Wedding and the reservations agent will book your room under our block. The nightly rate is $529 and you must book both Friday & Saturday night. At the moment there is one room left in the block but we can ask to add more if needed. You are more than welcome to book at Tides on your own, especially if you'll only stay Saturday night. Sometimes travel sites have competitive rates but since it is a holiday weekend we recommend booking sooner rather than later.
