What’s the dress code?

Cocktail/Garden Attire: Dress nice, it's a wedding! But dress fun, it's a party! El Club has air conditioning inside and an outdoor space that will be open all evening, paved and lawn. It's Michigan, we can't predict the weather; plan accordingly.

What do you mean, "Strolling" Wedding?
Answer
Everyone has to bring a stroller. ;-) Just kidding! Think of it as a big family party with good drinks, music, and food; where two people happen to be getting married. It's a more relaxed format for a reception. We want guests to eat and drink at their leisure. We will have bars open throughout the night. Appetizers will be available when guests arrive. For dinner, instead of assigned seats and plated meals, there will be a couple different Detroit restaurant vendors options and open high-tops or seated tables inside and outside. Later in the evening, you can take a break from dancing and grab desserts and late night Neapolitan pizzas.

Answer
Yes, we reserved a block of rooms at the Trumbull & Porter Hotel, but you must book before May 10th. Refer to the "Hotel" page on this site for more details. Hotel Code - TW74H5
