Provincetown Day Trip
On Thursday, we will be planning a day trip to Provincetown, the fun, gay-friendly coastal town at the tip of Cape Cod. If you can't join us, please make sure to spend a day in town. It's about a 1 hour drive from Harwich Port. RECOMMENDED: The Canteen: For lunch and their famous "Frozé" (frozen rosé) Lewis Brothers: The best ice cream, in the center of town The Mews: Amazing formal dining experience (with the best martini's EVER) So! Much! Shopping!
Chatham Day Trip
Located only 15 minutes from Harwich Port, Catham is a fun upscale excursion. There are lots of shops - some rather expensive and others very reasonably priced - and lots of great restaurants on the main street. RECOMMENDED: Candy Manor: A must for any candy enthusiast! Their homemade chocolates are fantastic! The Wild Goose: A wonderful place for relaxing dining experience. The porch is great for people watching.
Cape Cod Lavender Farm
If you love lavender, boy, this is the place for you! The drive back into the woods will make you feel like you're in the movie "Deliverance," but trust us, it's worth the momentary teeth grinding!
Sundae School
Best ice cream in the area (with vegan options)! We'll have plenty of ice cream available during our reception, but if you want to get a head start, this is the place to go!
Cape Cod Potato Chips
Every wonder how (good) potato chips were made on a mass scale? Take a tour of the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory, located in Hyannis, about a 20-minute drive from Harwich Port.
Dennis Cycle Center
Want to get some exercise? Check out Dennis Cycle Center and rent bikes for the day. There's a fantastic bike trail behind the rental place that will take you as far as you'd like to go around Cape Cod.
