Ela's aunt and uncle introduced us. Ryan called Ela on the phone and talked to her outside on a cold thanksgiving evening. Their talk went well and they were excited to see each other in person. When Ryan first met Ela, he thought she was more beautiful and talented than he imagined. He couldn't take his eyes off her and looked forward to seeing her again. After a few dates and more conversations on the phone, they decided to take it to the next step and call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. They continued to have good conversations and made lost of memories thought out the the following years. Their ups and downs helped their love grew stronger each day, and at that moment they knew its meant to be.
Ryan knew Ela was ready and after he thought long and hard about it he decided it was time to ask her the big question. He knew that if he wasn't with her then he would be looking for her. There was no reason to leave her but many reasons to stay. And on that day in Kansas City in front of the water fountain at the union station he asked her to marry him and she was excited to say yes.
