FAQs

Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you please RSVP by February 1, 2026. We must provide the venue with the final boarding list prior to the wedding. If you have not RSVP'd by the specified date, we cannot add your name after the fact and in turn you will not be able to board the yacht. As of February 2, the RSVP function is disabled. If needing to RSVP or if you have questions, please contact Elan or Matt directly.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the marina no later than 5:00 P.M., as we cannot wait if you are late. Boarding will begin at 5:00 P.M. The faster we board, the sooner we can start the party! When boarding is complete, the gate will close. We set sail promptly at 5:30 P.M.

Question

Do I need to bring anything on the yacht?

Answer

Every guest over the age of 18 must bring a valid ID or they will not be permitted to board.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to capacity restrictions on the yacht and the final boarding list requirement, we ask that you please do not bring guests unless addressed on your invitation. They will not be allowed to board.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! However, this will be an adults-only ceremony and reception (with the exception of our flower girl and ring bear).

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will take place aboard a yacht, so we’re embracing a refined take on Beach Formal — polished, elegant, and yacht-appropriate. Need help? For Women: Think elevated resort wear — chic maxi dresses (flowing chiffon or silk; tropical or pastel colors; halter or off-the-shoulder styles), elegant sets, or tailored jumpsuits that are breathable and flowy. Dressy sandals, block heels, or wedges are perfect. Accessories and glam encouraged. Cocktail dresses are suitable as well. For Men: Lightweight suits or tailored separates (like sports coats) in seasonal fabrics like linen or summer-weight wool. Dress shoes or stylish loafers only (no sneakers or sandals). Note: The yacht will be moving, so consider your footwear carefully. A light jacket or wrap is also a good idea for the evening breeze. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans, sneakers, tank tops, or flip flops. Visit: https://www.brides.com/beach-wedding-attire-4842339 if you need inspiration for beach formal.

Question

What if I get seasick?

Answer

Don't worry, so does Matt! We will not be going out into open ocean but we will have Dramamine on board if you would need it.
