Houston Museum District
The Museum District has a lot to see and explore! We love the planetarium and butterfly exhibit at the Museum of Natural Science. Hermann Park and the Miller Outdoor Theatre are close by - try to catch a free show there if you can!
Rice Village
Grab a bite and shop around here, or head to the 3-mile loop around Rice U for a walk / run if you're feeling active! We love Bitty and Beau's for coffee, and Hopdoddy, Local Foods, or Graitfy for lunch. Little Woodrow's is also great for a drink!
Montrose Collective
Montrose Collective is a newer outdoor development in the Montrose neighborhood. Similar to Rice Village, you can come here for a bite to eat and some shopping! We recommend Uchi, Marmo, and Grafitti Raw for lunch or dinner. Anvil and Refuge are down the street and have great cocktails!
Texas Classics
Make sure to try Tex Mex and BBQ while you're in Texas! Our favorite Tex Mex places are Pappasitos, Chuy's, El Tiempo, Lupe Tortilla, and the Original Ninfas. Truth and Goode Company are great barbeque spots!
The Galleria
The Galleria is known for it's shopping and is close to where our out-of-town guests will be staying (there's also ice skating year-round here)!
Space Center Houston
What Houston is known for - NASA is a far drive, but worth the trip if you have time!
