Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

In addition to adhering to New York Department of Health regulations, we are putting additional precautions in place to ensure all guests can celebrate in the lowest-risk environment possible. We are requiring that ALL guests and vendors provide proof of full vaccination. Acceptable proof of vaccination includes New York Excelsior Pass, physical CDC vaccination cards or photos of cards. As per New York Department of Health Regulations, all guests must be fully vaccinated and present vaccine card + ID at the door. We also kindly request that all guests take a COVID-19 test before the wedding as an additional precaution. Please feel free to reach out to Elana & Greg at elanaandgreg@gmail.com or to Sue Black at suerblack@aol.com with any questions or concerns.

Question

Should I bring proof of vaccination & Photo ID to the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Please bring Both. All guests must bring (1) proof of full vaccination (physical vaccine card, photo of vaccine card or excelsior pass/vaccine passport) and (2) photo ID. As per New York Department of Health Regulations, anyone coming into the venue is mandated to be vaccinated or test negative. All vendors must comply with NYS department of health and provide proof of vaccination or negative test as well. Regardless of vaccination status, we are requiring every vendor to wear a mask over their nose and mouth throughout the duration of our event.

Question

Should I take a COVID-19 test as well?

Answer

Yes. In addition to our full vaccination requirement, we kindly request that all guests take a COVID-19 test prior to our wedding as an additional precaution. Either a Rapid or PCR test is acceptable. Please email or text your negative result to Elana, Greg, Sue Black, Joe Black or Lillian Borofsky. PCR: If tests with quick turnaround results are easily available to you, we request that you take a PCR test within 72 hours before our wedding. Rapid Tests: If you plan to take a rapid test, we ask that you take one within 24 hours of the first wedding event you plan on attending. We will be providing Abbot BinaxNow COVID-19 self-tests in the welcome bags for out-of-town guests staying at the Ludlow, Hotel Indigo and CitizenM hotels. We will be requiring every vendor (regardless of vaccination status) to take a rapid test the morning of the wedding and wear masks when around wedding guests.

Question

What if I'm not vaccinated?

Answer

If you will not be fully vaccinated by our wedding, please kindly decline our invitation and celebrate our love from afar.
