We're so excited to have you experience one of our favorite places for the weekend! Please note some travel considerations below - 1) We're excited to offer enough lodging for everyone to stay together in Dillon Beach (at the Resort or in rental houses). We cannot guarantee room availability at the Resort beyond February, so ask that you book ASAP to reserve your cottage! Please book your Airbnbs/VRBOs ASAP, too, as they can fill up with summer visitors! 2) To get the most out of your adventure in West Marin County, we'd recommend renting a car or coordinating rentals amongst friends/family. Although hanging at the beach near the Resort and Airbnbs is a perfect way to spend the weekend, there is so much to experience in the area that you'll be glad to have the mobility! However, you can pre-schedule Ubers to take you to and from Dillon Beach, if you'd prefer not to rent a car, but you would need to hitch a ride with a friend to explore outside of Dillon Beach once you arrive!

Transportation will be provided from this location (there and back) for the wedding on Saturday. If the rooms book up at the Dillon Beach Resort or you can't find an Airbnb you like in Dillon Beach, we have the Tomales Hotel reserved as well. We will only have transportation from this location for the wedding on Saturday, so please be willing to drive yourself to/from the Friday night Welcome Party if you choose this hotel! ***Please call them directly to book, and tell them you're with the Wolpa-Smith Wedding*** (707)-888-9991 This quaint hotel is an 8 minute drive from Dillon Beach.

Rental Homes

Dillon Beach has many beautiful rental homes right behind the Dillon Beach Resort. Many (but not all) rentals are walkable to the resort and the beach. If you want to stay with a group larger than 4-6 people, we recommend booking an Airbnb/VRBO rather than staying at the resort. Please book your rental house as soon as possible, since we are not able to reserve these rentals ahead of time for our guests! We also recommend staying closer to the Dillon Beach Resort to minimize your walking distance down to the beach and Friday night party, unless you have a Designated Driver for the party. If you'd like to prioritize proximity to the beach/resort, focus your search on the most southern listings, nearest to the beach and resort. The closest airport to Dillon Beach is the Sonoma County Airport. We recommend you rent a car at the airport, and then enjoy the scenic drive out to the coast! Expect to say hi to lots of cows and horses on your way out!

San Francisco International Airport

Flying into San Francisco may offer more direct (and potentially cheaper) flight options. We recommend renting a car at SFO. If you opt for this route, get ready for a beautiful drive that will take you over the Golden Gate Bridge!
