What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Once the doors are closed at 4:55pm, they will not be opened until after the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, this is a formal wedding. Please keep in mind, if you have not been to NC, it could be any of the 4 seasons at any given time. It could be 75 degrees, or it could be 30 degrees. I recommend checking the forecast prior to packing/choosing clothes.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Several shades of purple and dark gray.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have them listed under the "Travel" section of this website, but feel free to do your own research and find a place where you will be most comfortable.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! PLEASE tell us if you have a food allergy! We will do our best to accommodate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there will be plenty of free parking.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

There is an open bar (beer, wine, standard mixed drinks of liquor and soda). The bar opens at 5:30pm and closes at 6:30pm for dinner. It will reopen at 7:30pm until 9:30pm.

Anything else guests should know?

Answer

Absolutely NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL at the wedding venue. Bride and groom will lose a substantial deposit if this happens. There will be an open bar.
