We can’t wait to celebrate our upcoming marriage with you!

We met in Houghton Michigan, while we were both attending classes at Michigan Technological University during the Fall 2017 semester. Like most "over 21 year olds", we both went to the bar (The DT) with our friends. I (Elaine) and my friends were already there when Mike and his friends walked in like Viktor Krum when the Durmstrang Institute entered The Hogwarts feast in The Goblet of Fire. My friend, Caitlin, started explaining how nice Mike was and that he had saved her life during their Freshmen Year. Mike asked for my number that night and we never really were able to stop talking. Throughout the semester, Mike would walk me home at night. During this time, we would discuss our post graduation plans. We realized that were planning on starting our careers in the same general area. Mike was working in Okemos Michigan while I was working in Dearborn Michigan, and traveling to Chicago. We started officially dating when I graduated in May of 2018.... and here we are!
