What is the attire for the weekend?

Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable—these are just suggestions! For our welcome party, think rustic cocktail attire. For the wedding day, (church ceremony, country club reception) we’d love to see knee to floor-length dresses in bright colors or florals, and suits or khakis with jackets for men. What are my other options for accommodations?

Answer

Lake Placid offers wonderful accommodations to suit every style. For convenience, we recommend staying on or near Main Street for easy access to charming shops, restaurants, and our welcome festivities, plus just a short scenic drive to our reception. You may also explore vacation rentals through VRBO or Airbnb. We especially recommend properties within the Whiteface Club and Resort, which provides beautiful lake access and places you right where our reception celebration unfolds.
