There will be parking at the Harris-Hillman School in their lot along 26th Avenue. There is a sidewalk along Blakemore Avenue that will allow guests to reach the wedding venue (heading east from the parking lot). If the length of the walk from the parking lot to the venue will pose issues for any guests, please reach out to Elaine and Kean to make arrangements.
The ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire.
The Welcome Party is located at 101 Van Buren Street, Nashville, TN 37208. There are two parking areas available to guests, however, parking spots are limited so we encourage guests to arrive via rideshare where possible. For those who need an accessible entrance, there is a paved parking lot located off of Taylor Street, on the south side of the building. **Please disregard the paid parking signs in this lot - they do not apply during the hours guests will be arriving.** Guests may enter the building through a door located on the side of the parking lot opposite Taylor Street, under a small awning. Once through the door, you will see a white sign pointing you left toward the venue entrance, which is roughly 35 yards from the accessible entrance. For all others, please use the gravel parking lot located off of Van Buren Street, on the north side of the building. From the gravel lot, guests may enter the venue using the stairs at the end of the parking lot opposite Van Buren Street. The stairs will be marked with a white sign. The door to the venue is just around the corner of the building on the wraparound deck (2nd story). If the gravel lot is full, guests may park on the street along Van Buren Street.
December 15, 2024. Thanks in advance for letting us know - we hope to see all of y'all there!
As a general rule, this will be an adults-only and invitation only event. However, if your children or an unspecified guest are listed when you RSVP, then yes, please feel free to bring your children and/or invite a date.
We got you. You'll have the opportunity to give us the details when you RSVP.
Sure - please refer to the "Travel" page on this website. That being said, you're absolutely spoiled for choice with hotels in Nashville, so we'd recommend any hotel chain you prefer - or mix it up with one of the of the boutique options in town. If you'd like to stay near the wedding venue, being close to Vanderbilt's campus, Hillsboro Village, or really anywhere in Midtown would be ideal.
With the availability of parking at the venue and proliferation of Ubers, Lyfts and other rideshare services in town, we will not be offering transportation to the venue.
