Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on the invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want to see you dress to impress! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/formal. Our color scheme is purples, blues, and gold. We kindly ask you to refrain from wearing those colors so as not to blend in with the wedding party. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is being held outdoors so please dress accordingly. If it is inclement weather the ceremony will be moved inside.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5PM, please arrive no earlier than 4:30.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture our ceremony. We will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask that all phones be silenced and put into purses and pockets. Our photographer will ask you to put it away if she sees it out. During the reception we would love to have you capture our wonderful evening and share it with us. There will be QR codes at every table to upload your photos to a shared album. You can use #rothpartyof2 if sharing on social media and tag us!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, however each guest will get a limited number of drinks. It is at a zoo and we need to be respectful and responsible.

Can my children attend?

Answer

Yes, children over the age of 1 will be included on your invitation. There will be fun activities to help keep them entertained the entire time!

What if I don't RSVP?

Answer

To help with planning, we kindly request you submit your RSVP by the date listed on your invitation. If you are having difficulty please contact the bride or groom. Unfortunately, if we do not receive your RSVP by the provided date, you will be marked as "Not Attending" and will not be included in our final headcount. We will miss celebrating with you , but we do need to give our venue and vendors a final headcount. We cannot make any exceptions and hope you understand.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking! There is a short walk from the parking lot to the ceremony and then from the ceremony to the reception. You will not need to drive until after the reception when you leave to go home.

Where do we stay if we want to get a hotel?

Answer

We are working with our venue on getting a list of recommended hotels near them and will put them here upon receiving them.

Question

Can we visit the zoo during your wedding?

Answer

No. The zoo closes before our ceremony starts. You can buy tickets and go in the morning or afternoon before the wedding or on saturday, but you will not be able to explore the zoo and see the animals. Only the locations of our ceremony and reception will be available during those set times.
