The Harvest Barn Maria Stein, OH
We believe that love, like many things, is mostly about good timing. --- We matched on Hinge April of 2019. Bradley just made the big move from Ohio for his new job and was settling into his Seattle apartment. Elaine just finished her first work project, for which she had been flying weekly to Seattle from California. Even though we matched while Elaine was no longer traveling to Seattle, we decided our initial connection was strong enough to take a crazy leap of faith. We booked a trip to Los Angeles for our first in-person date. Would NOT recommend doing this, but luckily the best case scenario happened: we fell in love. --- Despite the distance, we were able to see each other often and grow our relationship. We spent many weekends eating our way through Seattle, but we also did a road trip out to Washington wine country and even took a trip to Germany together! We closed the distance in January of 2020, thinking foolishly that the move-in would be a "trial-run" of living together. Well... you know what happens next. While it was tough to isolate in a tiny apartment, we spent a lot of time together and it quickly made our relationship even stronger. We spent holidays with each other's families, moved apartments, hiked some of the most beautiful hikes in Washington, and raised the sweetest puppy together. --- Just shy of 4 years together, we proposed to each other December of 2022 during a Mt. Baker snowshoe hike. Neither of us was in a rush to get married, but it felt like the right time for both of us. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with our closest friends and family! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us through thick and thin. We love and appreciate each of you.
