Elaine and Jeremy first met in college at Cal State East Bay in 2015. Jeremy first caught Elaine’s eye in the recreation and wellness gym where they play volleyball. She was too nervous to approach him at first but on Jeremy’s birthday on November 6th, when a group of friends went to watch a volleyball game. She gathered enough courage to ask for his number! Little did Jeremy know the leap of faith she took but now, the rest is history!
Weeks before the proposal, Jeremy started to brainstorm on how to propose to his love, Elaine. Knowing she deserves the best and how lucky of a guy Jeremy is, she turned to Elaine’s best friend to help turn his ideas to reality. Elaine’s best friend kicked it off with inviting Elaine on a double date at a fancy restaurant which she of course agreed to, little did Elaine know there was no double date at all. This was all a plan to get Elaine to get dressed up. On the day of, Elaine and Jeremy enjoyed a casual lunch at Rigatoni’s and soon after made their way to the beach in Half Moon Bay where Jeremy planned to propose. As they arrive, Elaine and Jeremy’s friends have already set up and everything was ready to go, so their friends scrambled to find a hiding spot along the beach! Jeremy and Elaine walked to the beach and as they walked along the sand, Elaine noticed vases of roses covering each corner of a white blanket with big white letters in the middle saying, “Marry me”. She commented to Jeremy, “hmmm looks like someone is going to get proposed to”. As Jeremy kept inching her forward, he politely asked her to step on the other side of the blanket, holding her hand while slowly getting down on one knee. Jeremy popped the question and with teary eyes, Elaine said YES!!
