Please RSVP by April 15, 2024 so we can have an accurate headcount :)
Eli and Elaine are getting married in accordance with Jewish tradition. Elaine converted to Judaism, and the symbolism and tradition of Jewish wedding ceremonies are deeply meaningful to both Eli and Elaine. The wedding program will cover the basics so everyone will know what's going on, but if you're interested in learning more check out the links listed in the "more info" tab.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means that phones, tablets, and personal cameras are not allowed. We have a great amount of trust in our photographer and videographer to capture our ceremony to the fullest extent. We want you to be present and enjoy the moment as it is, without thinking of the next social media post.
We are only able to accommodate those who are specifically named on the invitation. Please check your invitation for clarification.
There is free parking in front of the venue and in the Bandana/Atrium parking ramp, directly to the right of the main entrance of the Essence Event Center.
We ask that guests wear cocktail attire such as dresses, jumpsuits, pantsuits, or a suit and tie.
Please check your invite for your +1! We are only able to accommodate those whose invitations specify a guest.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30, and doors to the venue will be opened to guests starting at 4:00. Please arrive prior to the ceremony start time.
Elaine and Eli will both be keeping their respective legal names after the wedding. Elaine is comfortable being referred to by Eli's last name socially, but will be keeping her maiden name for professional and feminist reasons.
