Elaina and Ryan met during their first year of law school and quickly became friends. Elaina was drawn to Ryan's intelligence and happy-go-lucky personality, and Ryan adored Elaina's smile and wit. But it wasn't until graduation—three years later—that their friendship finally blossomed into something more. After studying for (and passing!) the bar exam, Elaina and Ryan spent a year and a half navigating the unchartered waters of a long-distance relationship.
