What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal or cocktail attire to the wedding. Block heels, wedges, or nice flats are encouraged, as guests can explore the walking trails around the lagoon. The welcome party is dressy casual.

Are the events outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony & cocktail hour will be held outdoors on a covered pavilion/patio. The reception will take place indoors. The welcome party will take place on a partially covered bar patio.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in either the Oak Park, IL, suburb near the venue, or on the northwest side of Chicago in the Wicker Park/Bucktown/West Town area. Staying downtown in the loop would also be convenient. See the Travel page for hotel block information.

How does parking/transportation work?

Answer

Parking is free and plentiful at the wedding venue. Street parking is available near the welcome party venue. Stay tuned for more information on Uber vouchers.
