Drew and Elaina first met during their college's first weekend. Elaina's friends had asked Drew for help carrying an air-conditioner, and they had no idea that this chance encounter would lead to something more. However, fate had other plans. Drew's roommate and Elaina's friends used Yik Yak to find a party on campus, where Drew and Elaina were reunited. They had a fun night filled with card games and laughter, and from that moment on, they were inseparable. Drew and Elaina faced many challenges throughout their college years, but they always had each other's backs. They graduated in 2018 and spent some time driving between East Orange, NJ, and Staten Island before settling in a lovely apartment in New Jersey, just 15 minutes away from where they first met. In 2021, they welcomed a new addition to their family, their fur baby Hunter, and continued to face life's challenges together. Elaina finished her Master's, and they both worked hard to find their careers. In September 2021, their hard work paid off. Drew landed a job at Wyndham, and Elaina got her first School Counseling job. They kept busy with vacations, family gatherings, and events while Drew secretly planned the most significant moment of their lives - their engagement. With the help of Elaina's sister Deanna, Drew planned a perfect day on August 13, 2022. He proposed to Elaina on the Beach in Sea Bright, New Jersey, surrounded by friends and family from near and far. Elaina cried tears of joy, and everyone celebrated their love. The day concluded with a surprise engagement party with their closest friends and family. Their love story is only beginning, and they can't wait to say "I do" surrounded by their loved ones on September 15, 2024.
