Located in Idaho Falls, the East Idaho Aquarium is a fun, hands-on experience featuring sharks, stingrays, reptiles, birds, and more. Guests can interact with animals through feedings and up-close encounters, making it a unique stop for all ages. It’s a great option for families or anyone looking for something memorable to do while visiting East Idaho.
Japanese Friendship Garden
One of our favorite places in Idaho Falls, the Japanese Friendship Garden is a peaceful oasis along the Snake River. With winding paths, waterfalls, koi ponds, and beautiful landscaping, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the moment. We’ve spent many dates here over the years, making it a place that’s especially meaningful to us—and a lovely stop for anyone looking to relax and take in the scenery. The picture we chose for this location is from one of the first school dances that we went to together.
Leo's Place Restaurants

Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or lunch, it’s a comforting and familiar stop while you’re in town.
Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park
Visiting our local zoo is an Idaho Falls summer staple. Bonus, they have a very fun park and play set close by. If you have little ones, like to go on walks, and or see animals this is the perfect activity to do while you are here!
