It all started at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. I wasn’t expecting anything out of the ordinary that day—just a normal shift. But then I saw Josh. He was standing in the kitchen, waiting to run food, and in that moment, I felt a feeling I had never felt before. There was something about him—something I couldn’t quite explain. A spark, a feeling that said, “You need to know him.” Of course, life has a sense of humor. I was out with my friend, Stacie, and her brother-in-law, and going on and on about this "guy" from work I couldn't stop thinking about. Without hesitation (and definitely without my permission!), they grabbed my phone and sent him a message from my Instagram asking if he had a girlfriend. I was completely mortified—but secretly hopeful. On Thanksgiving Day 2019, he replied, saying that he had a girlfriend, and that was that. Or so I thought. Fast forward six months, as the world was turning upside down thanks to COVID. Out of the blue, Josh messaged me and said, “I see quarantine is treating you well lol”. It was simple, unexpected, and it meant more than he probably realized. From that point on, it was like we picked up right where fate wanted us to begin. Memorial Day 2020 marked the beginning of us, and by March 2021, we made it official. What started as a spark in a restaurant became something we never could have predicted—but everything we both needed. And now, we get to start this new chapter and "Call It Forever!"
