Our Story

Tom and Hannah met in jr. high school and started dating during their freshman year in February of 2014. Here they are at jr. high graduation, about four months into their relationship.

They started high school together in the fall of 2014. Here, they’re all ready for sophomore Homecoming!

They hit Homecoming once again in the fall of 2016 as seniors.

They even made it to prom in the spring of 2017 as senior year came to a close.

In June of 2017 they graduated from Inglemoor High School without ever having a class together. They had been dating for over three years.

After high school, they started at separate colleges. Hannah left for Washington State University in the fall of 2018 while Tom attended Seattle University. Here they are in the fall of 2018!

Long distance was difficult. They visited each other as much as they could. This is them at Hannah’s sorority spring formal in 2019.

They both turned 21 in February of 2020! This is them at a bar in March 2020, unaware that the lockdown would start in less than 24 hours. On the upside, Covid gave them a break from long distance.

Tom graduated from Seattle University in June 2020. He finished his senior year over Zoom and didn't get a graduation ceremony.

In May of 2021, after a year and a half of Zoom classes, Hannah graduated from WSU in a virtual ceremony.

After college they had more time with each other. Here they are on an unexpectedly rainy and snowy camping trip in Yellowstone.

After 9 years of dating, in September 2023, they moved into an apartment in Seattle together. Here they are that same month!

Tom proposed on October 12th, 2024, on a hike in North Cascades National Park with a backdrop of autumn-yellowed larches. It was, of course, an immediate "yes!"
